Requirements

Minimum 1-2 years’ proven experience delivering FRAEWs
Strong understanding of PAS 9980 and UK building regulations
NEBOSH Fire, FPA C05 or equivalent qualification required
Member of a recognised professional body (IFE, IFSM, etc.)
Sound knowledge of construction methods and materials, especially cladding and EWS
Able to confidently liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders
Able to take a risk-based, pragmatic approach to safety and cost
Excellent written communication and technical reporting skills
Comfortable with hybrid working and travelling to sites as needed (mostly London & surrounding area)

Job Responsibility

Lead on the delivery of FRAEW assessments across a diverse portfolio of residential and mixed-use buildings
Work closely with clients, design teams, and enforcing authorities
Provide clear, compliant, and pragmatic advice on external wall systems in line with PAS 9980
Focus on genuine risk and proportionate remediation
Support wider fire safety consultancy work
Contribute to continuous team development and best practice
