Job Description

Fractional FinOps Analyst LATAM | Remote | Part-Time Contract Join a high-growth, technology-driven company at the intersection of finance, operations, and automation. This is an opportunity to step into a hands-on FinOps role where you will help build smarter, more scalable financial operations from the ground up. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented FinOps Analyst to support and improve core finance operations on a part-time, fractional basis (approximately 2–3 days per week / 40–60% FTE). This is not a traditional back-office support role — it is an opportunity to own workflows, improve processes, and help automate recurring financial operations using modern AI and automation tools. You will work closely with leadership while gaining exposure across treasury operations, billing, reporting, reconciliations, banking, and financial systems within a fast-paced global environment. The ideal candidate is curious, organized, tech-savvy, and excited by the idea of combining finance with automation and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and manage recurring finance operations processes from start to finish
  • Monitor daily cash activity, reconcile balances, and proactively identify discrepancies or risks
  • Prepare recurring financial reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage invoicing workflows, track receivables, and support collections processes
  • Review and process vendor invoices while maintaining accurate AP records
  • Support month-end close activities, reconciliations, and financial data accuracy within ERP systems
  • Identify manual or repetitive workflows and help transform them into automated, scalable processes
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve operational efficiency through AI-enabled tools and workflow automation

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, fintech, or a high-growth technology environment
  • Strong understanding of core finance functions including AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and cash management
  • Interest in process improvement, automation, and AI-driven workflows
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage recurring deadlines independently
  • Comfortable working in a remote, part-time environment with minimal oversight
  • Advanced English communication skills for collaboration with international teams

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech, financial services, SaaS, or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting platforms
  • Exposure to automation tools, workflow platforms, SQL, ETL processes, APIs, or spreadsheet scripting
  • Interest in AI tools and workflow optimization technologies

What we offer

  • High visibility and direct exposure to finance leadership
  • Opportunity to help modernize and automate finance operations using AI
  • Broad operational exposure across accounting, treasury, reporting, and systems
  • Flexible remote-first structure with strong autonomy
  • Ideal for someone looking to accelerate their finance career in a modern, tech-forward environment
