Job Description

Airswift is searching for an FPSO Operations Lead to work with a leading company in the Oil & Gas sector on a major offshore development project. This is a third-party contractor position on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension. This position will act as the operations representative within the FPSO project team, ensuring that operational requirements are embedded into design, construction, and execution phases. The role will play a critical part in ensuring operational readiness and supporting a smooth transition from project execution into production operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide operational input throughout engineering, procurement, and construction phases
  • Ensure operability, maintainability, and reliability of FPSO systems and interfaces
  • Monitor and coordinate operations readiness activities across contractors and internal teams
  • Support commissioning, startup, and early production phases
  • Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA and other technical reviews
  • Oversee spare parts strategy, training programs, and operational procedures
  • Ensure alignment with HSE standards and promote a strong safety culture
  • Support contract development from an operational perspective

Requirements

  • Engineering degree
  • Minimum 20 years of offshore oil & gas experience
  • Proven experience on at least 3 FPSO projects
  • Strong background in operations within major EPCI developments
  • Experience working with both operators and contractors
  • Exposure to international shipyards (Asia experience is a strong plus)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
