Job Description

IN2 Consult is partnering with a high-growth, VC-backed organisation to recruit an experienced FP&A Transformation Lead. This is a critical, high-impact role focused on driving the evolution of FP&A capabilities, systems, and processes while partnering closely with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making during a key phase of growth and transformation.

Job Responsibility

  • Take full ownership of the end-to-end implementation of an FP&A system, including solution design, build, user adoption, training, and ongoing optimisation post go-live
  • Lead the organisation-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles, ensuring outputs are aligned to strategic objectives
  • Provide transparency over key assumptions, risks, and opportunities within financial plans to enable informed business decisions
  • Enhance and evolve financial reporting packs, dashboards, KPIs, and variance analysis to deliver clear, actionable insight for senior stakeholders and the board
  • Develop and continuously improve financial models covering areas such as cash flow forecasting, working capital, profitability, and scenario planning
  • Analyse monthly management accounts, identifying key trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers to support revenue growth and margin improvement
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to deliver insightful analysis that supports commercial and operational decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with the SLT and Executive team to ensure high-quality financial insight underpins strategic planning and performance management
  • Support strategic initiatives, investment appraisals, and business cases through robust financial modelling and scenario analysis
  • Drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes, systems, and ways of working as part of a broader finance transformation agenda

Requirements

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)
  • Proven experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or finance transformation roles
  • Demonstrated experience implementing or optimising FP&A / planning tools (e.g. Anaplan, Adaptive, Oracle, etc.)
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with advanced Excel capability
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth or PE/VC-backed environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
  • Ability to balance hands-on delivery with strategic oversight
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
