Job Description

The selected candidate for the FP&A Senior Business Analyst role will join the Filtration Finance team and act as a key financial advisor to the Filtration team. Responsibilities include forecasting, budgeting and actuals reporting as well as analyzing for opportunities in both sales and expenses. The candidate will collaborate closely with the global Filtration leadership to manage non-operations opex and capex to the forecast. There are opportunities for career progression in other finance functions within Cytiva and other Danaher operating companies.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive business performance visibility through budgeting, forecasting, and reporting (monthly OPEX/Product & Service forecasts, annual budgets, headcount calls, weekly sales/orders reporting)
  • Support strategic decisions with business cases for R&D and capital investments
  • Identify growth and margin opportunities via price, product mix, and funnel analysis
  • Manage inventory risks by analyzing excess/obsolescence reserves and collaborating with commercial/product teams to resolve issues
  • Handle ad-hoc requests promptly based on business needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–5 years in financial analysis and controlling
  • Proficient in Excel and financial systems (OneStream, Qlik, Oracle)
  • strong data analysis and reporting capabilities
  • Detail-oriented, organized, able to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently on processes
