We are looking for an experienced professional to partner directly with General Managers and C-suite executives and their teams to support our Payroll and Early Bets business units. This person will drive growth strategy, resource allocation, optimize performance, and bring a financial lens to investment decision making. This is a highly visible role supporting a high-growth area. The role will report to the Director of Growth FP&A.
Job Responsibility:
Own business unit revenue models, unit economics projections, and commission plans
Directly partner with executive and functional leadership to create budgets, monthly forecast updates, and hiring plans
Lead monthly and quarterly income statement variance analysis and commentary as well as regular headcount reconciliation
Develop and enhance standard and ad hoc financial analyses and metrics to provide operational insight to business leaders
Assist in driving long range strategic company planning
Communicate business objectives and performance indicators and trends to key stakeholders
Design, automate, and optimize flexible FP&A processes and systems to help support and scale the organization
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other relevant area of study, or equivalent work experience required
Superior English language skills (written and spoken)
4+ years of direct relevant experience, including within FP&A at a high-growth company or other highly analytical industries
Detail-oriented and master of your craft, yet able to communicate results in a simple and succinct manner as possible across the organization
Strong analytical skills and experience with complex financial modeling
Experience partnering with C-Suite executives and their key staff members
Experience with Sales & Marketing investments, ROI / ROAS calculations as well as CAC / LTV (B2B & Direct to Consumer)
Experience with planning and analytics tools
Firm grasp of relevant accounting concepts, internal controls, and their respective implications
Collaborative mindset and experience influencing cross-functional teams
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, often ambiguous environment
Experience building processes and systems to support a high-growth company
Nice to have:
MBA a plus
Experience with Pigment, Salesforce or other CRMs, NetSuite, and Tableau are a plus
Experience in Fintech, Financial Services, or Banking is a plus
