Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an interim FP&A Manager to provide six months of leadership and backfill support across multiple business lines within a large media and digital platforms organization. This consultant will act as the primary finance liaison across supported divisions, driving budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and executive‑level financial analysis. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial insights, ensuring accurate forecasting, and managing executive-level reporting in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead financial planning and analysis activities for various digital platform and content distribution businesses
Oversee monthly close reporting, providing variance analysis and performance reviews to senior leadership
Track and analyze actuals versus budget and forecast, identifying risks and opportunities
Assess forecast assumptions for accuracy and transparency, ensuring alignment with business goals
Create executive-ready financial reports, presentations, and analysis packages
Manage corporate submissions and supplemental schedules while meeting system-driven reporting requirements
Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic initiatives
Implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and interim coverage effectiveness
Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and respond to leadership requests as needed
Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance, preferably within media, entertainment, streaming, or digital platforms
Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with senior leaders and present insights clearly
Experience working across multiple business units in large, matrixed organizations
Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with corporate planning/reporting systems
Capability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage complex reporting requirements
Nice to have:
Experience with SAP BPC is highly desirable
Proven track record of delivering accurate financial insights in a fast-paced environment
