Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced FP&A Manager/Supervisor to join a dynamic non-profit organization based in New York, New York. This long-term contract position will focus on driving financial planning and analysis processes, improving visibility into IT and operational expenditures, and supporting the development of investment frameworks. The ideal candidate will be highly independent, proactive, and capable of aligning cross-functional efforts to achieve organizational goals.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee financial planning and analysis activities to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of IT and operational costs
Develop and refine investment frameworks to improve decision-making processes and align with organizational priorities
Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance visibility into resource allocation and project expenditures
Utilize tools like Power BI, Oracle, and Domo to create detailed financial reports and analyze data trends
Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
Leverage data mining techniques and institutional knowledge to identify opportunities for cost optimization
Assist in the development and tracking of cloud-based financial metrics and reporting systems
Act as a key point of contact for cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring alignment across teams
Provide guidance and recommendations to stakeholders on financial strategies and best practices
Drive the framework for IT and operational budgets, ensuring comprehensive and actionable insights

Requirements:

Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, particularly within IT or operational budgets
Proficiency in tools such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, and CRM systems
Strong background in accounting functions and capital management
Expertise in data mining techniques and EPM systems to support financial decision-making
Demonstrated ability to manage annual budgets and improve budget processes
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights
Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working independently with minimal guidance
Familiarity with creating and managing financial reports using Power BI, Oracle, or similar tools
