We are looking for an experienced FP& A Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in New York, New York. This role requires a results-driven individual with strong attention to detail who can lead financial planning and analysis efforts while collaborating with key stakeholders to drive business performance. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing financial data, preparing budgets, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization and growth.
Job Responsibility:
Analyze and compile income statements, providing actionable insights and highlighting key financial trends
Facilitate weekly and monthly meetings with site General Managers and the Managing Director of Operations to review performance, identify opportunities, and address risks
Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reviews comparing results to budgets and prior years, ensuring accuracy through collaboration with the accounting team
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to offer financial advice, address concerns, and conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and scenario modeling
Monitor organizational metrics to support decision-making related to pricing, sales volume, and cost structures
Identify and implement cost-reduction strategies by conducting detailed reviews and evaluations
Collaborate with on-site teams to understand operational challenges and provide financial support
Partner with General Managers to create accurate budgets and forecasts, including detailed documentation of assumptions and a focus on key operational areas such as sales phasing, margins, wages, and expenses
Contribute to special projects within the region, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
Requirements:
Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
Strong background in developing annual budgets and forecasts
Advanced skills in financial modeling and scenario analysis
Solid experience conducting financial analysis to support business decisions
Familiarity with small business lending practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
