The FP&A Director will be a key strategic partner to the leadership team, responsible for driving financial planning, analysis, and forecasting. This role requires a strong business acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the FP&A team in developing and maintaining financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic objectives
Provide executive-level analysis and reporting on financial performance, trends, and risks
Collaborate with business leaders to develop actionable insights and recommendations to drive profitability and growth
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Partner with the accounting team to align financial reporting and compliance
Manage and enhance financial systems, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making
Mentor and develop the FP&A team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
Requirements:
Experience in financial planning and analysis, with a proven track record in leadership roles
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting, with advanced Excel and financial system expertise (e.g., Hyperion, SAP, or similar)
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
Strong leadership and team management experience, with a focus on driving results and fostering development
Business level communication in both Japanese and English
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
