Job Description:

We’re seeking a proactive and commercially focused FP&A Business Partner to join a leading Manufacturing client of ours in Central Bedfordshire. This role is key to supporting the UK business with high-quality financial insight, robust reporting, and meaningful analysis that drives better decision-making and strengthens overall business performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and control order intake and net sales reporting
  • Produce order intake forecast reports and attend weekly forecast calls
  • Provide regular forecast updates to the sales team
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial insight to key stakeholders across the business
  • Prepare monthly service and rental P&L accounts
  • Investigate performance across business units, identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting
  • Ensure financial integrity across all data and reporting outputs
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including journal postings
  • Support bonus and commission payment calculations
  • Assist with sales target setting and rebate management
  • Support preparation of annual budgets and ongoing forecasts
  • Contribute to ad hoc financial projects as required

Requirements:

  • Qualified or currently studying towards an accountancy qualification
  • Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of financial reporting
  • Confident communicator capable of working effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong IT literacy including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • SAP/Power BI experience desirable
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail
  • A positive, collaborative team player with a proactive, ‘can do’ attitude
