Job Description

At Harding+, our Finance team plays a critical role in driving performance across ships worldwide. Working closely with Retail Operations, commercial teams and senior stakeholders, we deliver the insight that shapes decision-making across a fast-moving global retail environment. Operating across international markets means working with large datasets, tight reporting deadlines and evolving commercial priorities. We are seeking an FP&A Analyst to join our team in Avonmouth. This role offers a high level of ownership and exposure, with the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute directly to commercial performance.

Job Responsibility

  • Take ownership of weekly and monthly trade reporting across sales, margin and key performance indicators
  • interpret performance, identify trends and provide clear, actionable insight to stakeholders
  • play a key role in budgeting and forecasting cycles, supporting reforecasts and ongoing performance tracking
  • deliver ad hoc analysis and deeper performance reviews, identifying risks and opportunities
  • contribute to quarterly business review packs
  • support improvements in reporting processes, working with Finance Systems and BI teams to drive automation and efficiency
  • partner with senior stakeholders across the business
  • operate independently in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • FP&A Analyst, Finance Analyst or Commercial Analyst with strong experience in financial planning & analysis
  • part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) or equivalent experience
  • advanced Excel capability
  • comfortable working with large datasets
  • confident working with stakeholders
  • proactive
  • detail-oriented
  • experience with Power BI, automation or working within a retail or similarly fast-paced commercial environment would be beneficial
