We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity for an analytical individual to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will assist senior management in making informed business decisions by providing accurate, timely, and insightful financial data and analysis.
Job Responsibility:
Evaluate and analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-range financial plans by collecting and consolidating data from various departments
Support the monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes, preparing reports and dashboards that outline the company's financial position and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review
Conduct variance analysis to explain discrepancies between actual financial results and planned figures, providing commentary and recommendations for corrective actions
Help develop and maintain financial models to forecast future performance and assess potential risks or opportunities
Liaise and collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations) to gather relevant data, share insights, and ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives
Identify areas for process improvement within the finance function and assist with ad-hoc projects and analyses as required
Requirements:
CIMA/ACCA/ACA
PQE 1-2 years or on course to complete a recognised financial qualification
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, financial modeling, data analysis)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
A proactive approach, curiosity, and a strong desire for continuous learning and professional growth
Nice to have:
Familiarity with financial software or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus
Interest in or experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial
