We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic finance team. This role combines the strategic responsibilities of Financial Planning & Analysis with the collaborative functions of a Finance Business Partner. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Act as co-collaborator with business stakeholders, providing strategic financial guidance and analysis
Partner with operational teams to develop and implement financial strategies
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of financial goals with business objectives
Support business units in financial decision-making processes, including investment appraisals and cost management
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation to enhance financial processes
Collaborate with various departments to design, implement, and monitor internal controls to ensure financial compliance and limit potential risk exposure
Lead preparation of financial models, annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis
Ensure business alignment with strategic goals through collaboration with department heads
Analyze financial performance key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations into driving business decisions
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management
Conduct variance analysis to report on ROI and risks, and opportunities
Perform scenario modeling to evaluate the impact of business changes or potential risks on financial outcomes
Collaborate with HR and department heads to develop accurate headcount plans, including scenario analyses to support strategic workforce decisions
Review quarterly and annual P&L and B/S of the service business
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Proven experience in FP&A with a focus in business partnering roles
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strategic mindset with the ability to see the big picture
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels
Advanced knowledge of financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems)
Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, Power BI, and/or other automation tools/apps
Self-starter with the ability to own the problem and the solution in a finance working environment
Nice to have:
MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred but not required
Proven experience in FP&A with a focus in business partnering roles, a plus (preferably at a mid-to-large-sized organization)
