Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced FP& A Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Wauseon, Ohio. In this role, you will support financial planning, analysis, and assistant controllership functions within a manufacturing environment. This position requires someone with a keen attention to detail and a strong background in financial reporting and variance analysis.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform detailed variance analysis to identify discrepancies and provide actionable insights
  • Analyze gross margins and inventory levels to ensure accurate reporting and effective cost management
  • Collaborate with the controller and staff to support financial planning and reporting needs
  • Review payroll, pricing strategies, and operational costs for accuracy and alignment with company goals
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the parent company, including key metrics and trends
  • Assist in managing financial data and processes to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
  • Provide recommendations based on financial analysis to improve business performance
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions to streamline data analysis and reporting
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or an assistant controllership role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for financial modeling and analysis
  • Strong knowledge of variance analysis and gross margin evaluation
  • Familiarity with inventory management and payroll systems within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
