We’re seeking a commercially minded FP&A Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis across ANZ, delivering clear insights that drive smarter decisions and business growth. This role will play a critical part in supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to help drive growth across the ANZ market. You will work closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to provide clear, accurate, and actionable financial insights that guide decision-making.
Job Responsibility:
Assists with the Co-ordination and preparation of annual budget and reforecasting process in collaboration with department cost centre owners
Monitoring, reporting and analysis of financial results versus budget and forecast including investigation of variances providing actionable recommendations
Streamline reporting and forecast process and support automation initiatives and system enhancements
Assists in the Management reporting and analysis of monthly and annual results including detailed commentary for ANZ markets
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including department heads, to understand their needs and provide tailored financial insights
Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for key business partners outside of finance
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through detailed financial and operational data analysis
Provide support for ad hoc commercial projects
Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for various business situations
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial planning and reporting processes
Enhance existing financial models and create new analytical tools as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
CPA/CA designation completed or in progress preferred
Ideally 1-2 years of experience in FP&A or business partnering roles
Experience in retail or FMCG industry preferred but not required
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft excel and experience with BI/financial planning software
