Job Description:

The FP&A Accountant working with finance and the operational teams will play a key role in delivering insightful financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting to support commercial decision-making across the business that drives growth, efficiency and profitability.

Job Responsibility:

  • Developing and maintaining robust financial models to support pricing, margin optimisation, labour efficiency, investment decisions, and scenario planning
  • Delivering accurate and timely weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
  • Producing month-end P&L reports with clear variance analysis (actual vs budget/forecast) and strong commercial commentary that highlights trends and key risks
  • Ensuring integrity, consistency and accuracy of financial data across reporting cycles
  • Analysing and tracking hospitality KPIs such as revenue per cover/room, labour percentage, food & beverage margins, occupancy, and yield
  • Partnering with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives and drive operational performance
  • Supporting the Head of Finance and Finance Director with budgeting and forecasting, working closely with operational teams to produce realistic, data-led projections
  • Building and continuously improving advanced Excel models
  • Automating reporting processes using Power Query and data transformation techniques to improve efficiency and insight

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an FP&A / Commercial Finance / Finance Analyst role
  • Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel expertise (Power Query essential
  • Power Pivot / DAX highly desirable)
  • Management accounts and month-end reporting
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate numbers into commercial insight

  • Exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools
