Job Description

We're hiring the first sales leader to plant Lovable's flag in New York City. You'll build the enterprise motion from zero — building a team to drive pipeline, close seven-figure deals, and establish Lovable as the default platform for companies reimagining how software gets built. This is a founding role: you set the standard.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the New York market end-to-end: pipeline generation, deal execution, and customer expansion
  • Hire, develop, and coach the first cohort of AEs in market as the team scales
  • Close and expand strategic accounts across financial services, media, healthcare, and enterprise technology: the industries that define New York's commercial landscape
  • Build Lovable's presence in NYC through events, executive relationships, community, and partner co-selling
  • Work directly with the Head of Global Sales to shape the enterprise playbook. Your patterns become the company's patterns
  • Serve as a credible, technically fluent voice for Lovable with enterprise buyers from first call through multi-stakeholder procurement

Requirements

  • 10+ years in enterprise B2B sales, with 4+ years leadership experience in high-growth SaaS, developer platforms, or AI-adjacent technology
  • Demonstrated ability to build pipeline and close in a new market or territory — without a pre-existing playbook
  • Track record of consistent quota attainment (>100%) leading teams with ACV $100K+ deal sizes
  • Genuine fluency with AI tools in your day-to-day workflow — not just awareness, actual practice
  • Conviction that great enterprise sales is about creating new categories, not fitting into existing ones
  • Preferred: Experience selling developer tools, infrastructure, or AI platforms to technical buyers (CTOs, VPs Eng, CPOs)
  • Preferred: Existing network in the New York enterprise and startup ecosystem

Nice to have

  • Experience selling developer tools, infrastructure, or AI platforms to technical buyers (CTOs, VPs Eng, CPOs)
  • Existing network in the New York enterprise and startup ecosystem

  • Leading teams to consistent quota attainment (>100%) in competitive, complex sales environments

  • Genuinely AI-native: you use AI tools to run your workflow, not as a talking point
