Job Description

Reducto turns unstructured documents into structured, usable data. Our models and APIs power document intelligence for developers and enterprises across every vertical — from financial services to healthcare to legal. We're hiring our first product manager. This is a founding PM role, not a feature-team PM role. You'll set the product direction across everything from our core platform (APIs, no-code workflows, document processing) to how we package, price, and take it to market.

Job Responsibility

  • Find the right problems
  • Multiply the team
  • Keep pace with AI-native development
  • Ship product end-to-end
  • Set the quality bar
  • Go broad and deep

Requirements

  • 5+ years as a PM, engineer, or founder
  • Deeply technical
  • Metrics-driven
  • Excellent taste
  • Maniacal about outcomes

Nice to have

  • You've built technical products for developers or worked with document processing / AI infrastructure
  • You have a background in ML/AI product management, specifically shipping products powered by proprietary models
  • You've been at a high-growth startup that went from early traction to scale
  • You've built or scaled a horizontal platform across multiple verticals

What we offer

  • Unlimited PTO
  • Daily Lunch
  • Commuter Reimbursement
  • Comprehensive Insurance
  • Health and Wellness Budget up to $150 per month
  • Parental Leave
  • 401k +4% company match

Requirements
  • Comfortable in technical conversations about APIs, data models, system resilience, and failure modes. Can read a spec, sketch a flow, and have a real opinion about the design
  • Shipped product in a technical surface area (platform, integration, data, developer-facing, or AI-native) and have had to make hard calls about what to expose, what to abstract, and what to deprecate
  • Think about onboarding and time-to-value as product problems, not marketing or services ones
  • Done real discovery: spent time with users, found the underlying pattern, wrote it up in a way that drove a decision
  • Can hold a clear point of view and update it cleanly when the evidence moves
Job Responsibility
Job Responsibility
  • Work on the surfaces that every Akeneo customer touches: the onboarding experience, the customer-facing control plane, the agentic and AI-native experiences we're building into the product, and the data-orchestration layer that ties everything together
  • Customer onboarding - get every new customer from contract signed to products live and selling in their channels in days
  • The customer control plane - the cross-cutting surface customers use to see what's happening across all their activation channels and to steer it
  • Agentic and AI-native experiences - determine what it looks like when an agent quietly handles the boring 80% of activation work
  • Data orchestration - shape how that flow is modelled, monitored, and recovered when it goes wrong
  • The APIs underneath - have opinions on what's a first-class API, what's a private implementation detail, and what the contract with the outside world looks like

Requirements
  • Builder mentality: you're energized by going from zero to one, not by managing from a distance
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, ML engineering, or a deeply technical product role where you were hands-on with what shipped
  • Technical fluency: software engineering or ML background (master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience)
  • Deep intellectual curiosity about AI systems — you read papers, dig into technical details, and have strong opinions about how things should be built
  • Enough customer instinct to know what matters, but your default mode is building, not selling
  • Bias for action and comfort wearing multiple hats in fast-moving environments
  • Willingness to travel to allied partner nations as needed
Job Responsibility
Job Responsibility
  • Own the product roadmap and execution for one or more product areas within Global Defense, driving what gets built and how it ships
  • Be hands-on: write specs, prototype solutions, dig into technical architecture with engineers, and make product calls grounded in real technical understanding
  • Design and ship AI-powered products and tooling for defense and national security workflows, working side-by-side with engineering and ML teams
  • Use customer context to inform what you build — understand allied defense workflows deeply enough to make opinionated product decisions, not just relay requirements
  • Navigate the unique constraints of defense product development across allied nations — classification environments, accreditation processes, air-gapped deployments — or be ready to learn these fast
  • Operate like a founding team member: wear multiple hats, move fast, unblock yourself, and drive outcomes across engineering, operations, and go-to-market
