Midnight Mansion is crafting the next generation of location-based entertainment, combining interactive art, narrative gameplay, and tech-forward environments to bring unforgettable experiences to life. We are looking for a Head of Operations to join Midnight Mansion as a founder-level partner and build the operational foundation for Edge of Elsewhere. This is not a traditional employee position. It is a high-trust leadership role for someone who wants real ownership and meaningful influence at an early-stage company. You will work directly with the founders to turn a creative vision into a disciplined, scalable operating business.

Job Responsibility

  • Build and manage core operational systems and workflows
  • Lead internal processes across hiring, partnerships, and logistics
  • Set up scalable infrastructure
  • Identify gaps and bottlenecks, and propose solutions
  • Establish and refine operational procedures to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency
  • Collaborate with the finance function to develop and manage annual operating budgets
  • Act as a founder-level partner in decision-making

Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial and excited to build a company from 10 people to 100
  • Strong operator with experience running teams, projects, and/or organizations
  • Not afraid of ambiguity, bringing structure where needed but not overly rigid
  • Excited by the intersection of technology, story, and experience
  • Background in themed entertainment, scenic design & fabrication studios, or similar creative production is a plus
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
