We’re working with an early-stage startup looking for a Founding Engineer to become their first technical hire. This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor, shape the product from day one, and play a key role in building the engineering culture and technical direction of the company. As the first engineer, you’ll work closely with the founders to design, build, and scale the core product. You’ll have full ownership across the stack and the chance to influence everything from architecture to tooling and future hiring.
Job Responsibility:
Build and ship product features end-to-end using TypeScript across the full stack
Design scalable backend systems and modern frontend applications
Work directly with the founders on product decisions and roadmap
Help establish engineering best practices and technical foundations
Play a key role in building the early engineering team
Requirements:
2–3+ years of experience as a software engineer
Strong experience with TypeScript full stack development
Comfortable working in fast-moving startup environments
Product-minded engineer who enjoys building from scratch
Someone excited by ownership, autonomy, and impact
