Holyoke Community College seeks an applicant for a Full Time faculty position in Foundations of Health, focusing on Nutrition, Public Health, Medical Terminology, and/or other courses as needed in the department. Under the direction of the Dean of Health Sciences and in collaboration with department faculty and chair, the faculty member collaborates in the ongoing development and refinement of the Foundations of Health degree program, engages in curriculum and course development, and provides instruction in assigned courses. Responsibilities also include supporting program assessment activities, including the collection, analysis, and reporting of student learning and program outcomes.

Requirements:
Master's Degree in Public Health, Nutrition, or related field
Teaching experience in higher education
Ability to demonstrate teaching skills including the use of interactive and varied pedagogical strategies
Experience using instructional technology to enable student success, including online learning management systems and other tools
Demonstrated commitment to and experience in working successfully with a diverse student body, staff, and faculty representing a broad range of abilities, ages, ethnicities, races, and sexual orientations
Commitment to supporting underrepresented and diverse students
Ability to work collaboratively within an academic department and contribute to its growth, innovation, and excellence in alignment with institutional goals
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on projects and initiatives
Nice to have:
Hands-on work experience in a healthcare setting
Community college teaching experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Doctoral degree in Public Health or related field
Knowledge of and experience with grant writing or management
