Cardinal Newman College is a wonderful place to work, and this is an exciting opportunity for a enthusiastic and experienced candidate to join our friendly and well established Foundation Learning department. The Foundation Learning Department is seeking an individual who holds GCSEs in English and Mathematics at Grade A*–C (9–4) or equivalent. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of supporting students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You should display the values, attitudes, and behaviours consistent with the Catholic Ethos of the College and have a commitment to equality/diversity and the safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults. Hours: 29.6 hours per week, term time only. Working hours for the role will be 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday. Salary: The post will be paid on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Support Staff Pay Spine at points 7 to 11 - pro rata to £25,951 to £28,634 per annum. Actual Salary £18,154.08 to £20,030.98 per annum.

Requirements
GCSEs in English and Mathematics at Grade A*–C (9–4) or equivalent
