The Foundation and Corporate Giving Manager is responsible for the overall portfolio of grants and sponsorships for BioMarin's Corporate Affairs function. This individual will partner closely with Legal and Compliance to support review and contracting processes and will maintain cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment with business objectives. All processes and procedures will be conducted in accordance with standards and SOPs established by Compliance and Legal. This role carries budget tracking responsibilities and supports the Corporate Affairs team in vendor management and contracting. The Manager will develop proficiency in relevant portals and tools, coordinate review committees, drive process improvements, and support Corporate Affairs operational needs.
Job Responsibility:
Track end-to-end lifecycle of grants, sponsorships and memberships
Support the Corporate Affairs team in vendor contracting and ongoing vendor management
Coordinate Veeva compliance reviews for event-related and patient-facing materials, ensuring timely routing and approval
Partner with Finance to develop, track, and reconcile budgets
participate in annual budget planning and forecasting cycles
Create and maintain reports, metrics, and dashboards for grants tracking and budget status
Understand data management systems supporting review, approval, and archiving of grants, sponsorships, memberships and vendor activity

Ensure all activity complies with BioMarin policies and industry guidelines
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage complex information across functions
Self-motivated with strong initiative and problem-solving capabilities
Experience with Veeva Vault or similar MLR review and request management platforms preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills with close attention to detail
Knowledge of relevant guidelines and compliance around Grant Programs
