Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Forward Tipping Dumper Operative to join our team on the high-profile infrastructure project at the Ashington Station site. Working alongside a team of civil engineers and groundworkers, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials across the site to support ongoing earthworks, drainage, and civils infrastructure development.

Job Responsibility

  • Safely operate a Forward Tipping Dumper in line with site speed limits and safety protocols
  • Transport muck, aggregates, and materials across the site as directed by the site management team
  • Conduct daily pre-start vehicle checks and maintain accurate logs
  • Assist groundworkers and civils crews when the machine is idle
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including wearing correct PPE at all times

Requirements

  • CPCS or NPORS Card (Forward Tipping Dumper) is essential
  • Proven experience working on civils, infrastructure, or major earthworks sites
  • Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis jacket/trousers, steel toe cap boots, gloves, and safety glasses)
  • A strong, proactive commitment to site safety
  • Ability to provide recent, relevant work references
