As a forward-deployed scientists at Chai, you will operate as a power user and test pilot who knows how to get the best results out of our platform, intimately understands its strengths and limitations, and applies intuition & creativity to solve novel problems and targets. You'll join an elite team of biologists, computational scientists and AI researchers. Your mandate is to help ensure that our partnerships with global life sciences companies exceed expectations. You will operate as our eyes & ears on the ground, taking your findings back inside the building to help us refine our product, our models and our approach. You will become an expert in our partners' science and therapeutic concerns, the best partner they could hope for. This is an opportunity to push the boundaries of science and artificial intelligence, while getting far more exposure that one encounters working on a single drug program or within a traditional life sciences company.

Requirements:
PhD or equivalent experience in the field—Antibody Engineering, Computational Biology, Protein Sciences
Hands-on experience with design and characterization of antibody-based biologics
Proficient in molecular-biology workflows, binding and developability assays, inspecting structures in PyMOL or similar tools
Track record of strong communication, collaboration and execution
Thrive under pressure
Nice to have:
Our ideal candidate has some mix of antibody engineering and computational protein design expertise -- and is a quick study
You operate with urgency and are innately curious about science and technology
You have well-honed organizational skills and can't sleep if things aren't working
