Job Description:

Palantir's Mixed Reality Group (MRG) is a Tier 1 team of researchers, 3D artists, immersive UX designers, and cross-discipline engineers to bring the most exquisite software of our time to the factory floor, the battlefield, and the briefing room. You will collaborate with customers, operators, MR designers, and MR developers to deliver force-multiplying apps that exceed tomorrow’s requirements today.

Job Responsibility:

  • Hands-on work with cutting edge Mixed Reality hardware. Deploying builds, configuring devices, building and testing new integrations
  • Troubleshoot issues at all layers of the system, from physical to application
  • Architect, develop, debug, document, and deploy performant Mixed Reality applications
  • Collaborating with fellow engineers on architecture and design decisions
  • Wrangling massive-scale data and using AI to accelerate and enhance critical operations
  • Developing custom applications tailored to customer needs
  • Engaging directly with customer stakeholders, from technical teams to executives
  • Shaping team strategy and driving projects from ideation to deployment, increasing your pain threshold to deliver real value

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, and Data Science
  • Strong coder with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, C#, Rust, Go, or similar
  • Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance
  • Ability and interest to travel up to 25%, as needed to client sites, but flexible based on personal preferences

Nice to have:

  • Experience or curiosity about working with and using large scale data to take on valuable business problems
  • Understanding of Defense and Intel industry product lifecycles
