We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Formulation Scientist with 3-10 years of experience, specializing in Complex Injectables. This full-time position offers a significant opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and development in the pharmaceutical industry.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and execute formulation development activities for complex injectable products
Design and conduct experiments to characterize drug substances and excipients
Develop robust and scalable formulations for parenteral drug delivery systems
Perform pre-formulation studies, including solubility, stability, and compatibility assessments
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for sterile injectable products
Utilize advanced analytical techniques to characterize and evaluate formulated products
Troubleshoot formulation and process-related issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analytical development, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs
Prepare technical reports, development protocols, and regulatory submission documents
Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and scientific advancements in formulation science
Requirements:
Master of Pharmacy (M-Pharma) degree or equivalent
3 to 10 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical formulation development, with a strong focus on complex injectables
Proven expertise in the development of sterile parenteral products, including lyophilized formulations, liposomes, nanoparticles, or other sophisticated delivery systems
In-depth understanding of drug delivery principles, excipient selection, and formulation strategies for injectables
Proficiency in various analytical techniques relevant to formulation characterization (e.g., HPLC, GC, DLS, DSC, TGA, particle size analysis)
Experience with aseptic processing techniques and sterile manufacturing environments
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA) pertaining to injectable product development
