Job Responsibility:

  • Providing comprehensive training to new employees on site safety, material handling equipment, warehouse management systems, and quality control procedures
  • Conducting ongoing refresher training for existing employees
  • Auditing employee performance, generating reports and recommendations
  • Ensuring proper training documentation and maintaining compliance with all safety regulations
  • Seeking opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and improve safety performance
  • Taking the lead in communication strategies to raise awareness and promote understanding of work processes
  • Assisting with warehouse tasks and performing material handling duties as required when not engaged in training

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with material handling equipment
  • Proficient in operating Counterbalance forklifts, Reach trucks, Order pickers, Pallet jacks
  • Familiarity with wireless RF systems
  • Knowledge of preferred picking practices
  • Experience working in cold storage environments
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • MHE Trainer (Train the Trainer) certification is preferred or a willingness to obtain
