Job Responsibility

  • Equipment Mastery: Execute daily duties as a Forklift Operator, safely maneuvering a variety of machinery—including Reach, Counterbalance, Order Picker, Dock Stocker, and Walkie forklifts—through tight and intricate warehouse configurations
  • Freight Management: Direct the flow of goods by executing accurate inbound receiving, strategic inventory put-away, and outbound trailer loading
  • Order Optimization: Meet daily throughput targets by utilizing RF scanners to pick, pack, verify, and stage client shipments with zero errors
  • Inventory Integrity: Assist with quality control measures, including routine cycle counts and detailed stock audits, to maintain data accuracy
  • Operational Support: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and perform physical warehouse tasks as required, including lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs

Requirements

  • Valid Credentials: Possession of an active, legally compliant Forklift Operator certification for Reach, Counterbalance, Order Picker, Dock Stocker, or Walkie machinery
  • Proven Track Record: A demonstrable history of working as a Forklift Operator productively, swiftly, and safely in high-volume distribution settings
  • Professional Reliability: A solid reputation for exceptional punctuality, consistent attendance, and professional workplace conduct
  • Physical Capabilities: Capacity to stand for the duration of an extended shift and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Availability: Ready to commit to a full-time schedule to ensure steady, ongoing weekly hours

  • Operate multiple sizes of fork trucks depending on job
  • Load and unload vans, flatbeds and containers in a timely and quality minded manner
  • Understand warehouse operations along with material storage locations, products and processes
  • Utilize scan guns or computer systems accurately to facilitate material movement
  • Work as a team to meet goals of the Shipping department and the organization
  • Perform all tasks associated with maintaining a clean and safe plant and warehouse
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems during day-to-day production. Understand escalation process and react accordingly and in a timely fashion
  • Effectively communicate with co-workers at all levels regarding daily production
  • utilize radio and appropriately communicate when needed
  • Responsible for the visual inspection of all products being moved and/or loaded/unloaded onto outbound trucks and notifying Supervisor or appropriate personnel of any damage
