Job Description:

A Warehouse Reach Truck Operator is responsible for operating a reach truck to efficiently move, stack, and retrieve materials within a warehouse. They also assist in inventory management, loading and unloading vehicles, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Job Responsibility:

Operating Reach Truck: Safely and efficiently operate reach trucks to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse
Material Handling: Load and unload goods from vehicles, including trailers and other transportation methods
Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, participating in cycle counts, and tracking material movement
Warehouse Organization: Contribute to the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse by stacking materials correctly and ensuring clear aisles
Safety and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of the reach truck, report any issues, and adhere to all safety regulations
Collaboration: Work with other warehouse staff to optimize workflow and improve overall efficiency
Documentation: Keep detailed records of material movement, inventory levels, and equipment usage
Other Duties: May assist with other warehouse tasks, such as pallet building and loading, as needed

Requirements:

5 to 6 Yrs experience in Forklift driving field with Licence
10th Pass is must
Previous experience operating reach trucks in a warehouse environment is preferred
Reach truck certification or a willingness to obtain certification is often required
Physical Abilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move heavy objects, and navigate warehouse spaces
Safety Awareness: Understanding and adherence to safety regulations and procedures
Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors
Inventory Management Skills: Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and participate in cycle counts
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues with equipment and materials
