Forklift Operator

• Perform full-case order picking for replenishment, customer orders, and packaging components
• Retrieve and put away pallets in narrow aisle bulk rack storage systems
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure transaction accuracy
• Load and unload pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines using equipment or manual handling
• Sort and build product pallets to meet customer specifications
• Apply shrink wrap to pallets using appropriate machinery
• Complete pre- and post-operation equipment checklists
• Maintain storage location accuracy through daily cycle counts and inventory maintenance tasks
• Perform other distribution functions as needed based on business volume and operational needs

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to operate basic powered material handling equipment (e.g., electric pallet jack, forklift)
• Comfortable working on equipment at extended heights
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Flexibility in meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service oriented and strong team player
• Ability to follow policies and procedures
• Ability to read, write and interpret information
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
• Ability to sit, walk, or stand for the duration of the shift
• Must possess visual acuity to perform essential job functions
• Ability to conduct physical tasks with a full range of motion throughout the warehouse environment
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
• If the incumbent resides in the province of Quebec, Functional French (written and spoken) is required

Shift differential: $1.00 per hour
