Job Description:

Randstad Canada is seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator for a contract position in Rocky View County, Alberta. This role involves operating forklifts (Propane CB and Cross Dock), handling materials, and contributing to the shipment of freight at the Fulfillment Centre. Candidates must have prior forklift and cross docking experience, valid forklift certification, and the ability to lift 30-50 lbs regularly. Only applicants with a valid work permit, PR, or citizenship in Canada are eligible to apply.

Job Responsibility:

Forklift Operator: Propane CB and Cross Dock
Material Handler
Loading and Unloading Transport Trucks of products
Responsible for the receiving, order filling and shipment of freight into and out of the Fulfillment Centre.

Requirements:

Comfort with being physically active and able to lift up to 50 lbs
Basic computer skills
Comfort with using hand tools
Able and willing to be trained to perform tasks while operating material handling equipment (MHE) for up to 10 hours per day
Previous Warehouse experience is considered an asset
Only work Permit Holders/ PR / Citizens eligible to work full time can apply for the job
Previous forklift and cross docking experience is a must
Must have a valid forklift certification and be able to pass a background check
Eligible candidates must have a clear criminal record check.

Nice to have:

Previous Warehouse experience
More experience with forklift operation
Willingness to be trained on Cross Dock.
