Forklift Operator

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport wide flanges, channels, tubing, and pipe
• Safely move materials up to 60 feet long within the yard and shop areas
• Identify and properly handle various steel materials, including wide flanges, channels, tubing, and pipe
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues
• Maintain an organized and clean work area during the night shift
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating forklifts
• Ability to identify and differentiate wide flanges, channels, tubing, and pipe
• Strong understanding of safe loading and material handling practices
• Reliable and safety-conscious work ethic

• Experience working in a steel yard or fabrication environment
• Forklift certification (if applicable)
