Job Description:

Safely operate any assigned powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, stand up order picker/ cherry picker as well as other powered equipment to move product around the distribution center. Accurately process orders in and out of the distribution center.

Job Responsibility:

  • Safely operate any assigned powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, stand up order picker/ cherry picker as well as other powered equipment to move product around the distribution center
  • Accurately process orders in and out of the distribution center
  • Utilize powered equipment, pick and put away product efficiently and accurately, as assigned by supervisor
  • Utilize computerized warehouse management systems (WMS) and radio frequency (RF) scanners to process all barcoded products
  • Identify and communicate exceptions to the leadership team
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperwork
  • Work safely and maintain a clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of six (6) months previous experience operating forklifts
  • Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
  • Ability to attain an adidas certification to safely operate any assigned powered equipment, including but not limited to: order picker, turret truck, reach truck, powered pallet jack and sit-down forklift
  • Basic math skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Flexibility to train and work in multiple areas
  • Able to work safely at high levels, upwards of forty (40) feet
  • Able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
  • Able to reliably attend work/scheduled hours
  • Required to safely operate power industrial equipment as noted above
  • Occasionally required to sit
  • bending, twisting, climb or balance
  • lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds
  • and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
