Job Responsibility

  • Operates forklifts to move materials, and load/unload trucks
  • Drives a forklift to push, pull, lift, stack or move equipment deemed necessary by the Foreman
  • Adheres to company safety and OSHA regulations
  • Assists in receiving incoming steel, bolts, treads, and other miscellaneous material
  • Supplies workers with materials as needed
  • Maintains forklifts as needed
  • The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required
  • Perform non-essential duties as needed

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to maintain equipment
  • Must be able to pass certification required to operate equipment
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or less, bend, stoop, lift, and carry frequently
  • Excessive amount of pushing pulling from the waist
  • Exposed to temperature fluctuations and loud noises
  • Candidates must show the capacity to proactively initiate, effectively lead, and consistently uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards
