6+ months of forklift experience in a production, manufacturing, military or related environment

Job Responsibility

Operate forklift and perform all job duties in a productive manner
Load proper quantities of quality, damage free product, in a safe manner and distributes the weight of the product in a proper manner
Unload product as directed while visually inspecting and identifying any damaged and defective goods
Use the proper paperwork and scanning equipment to complete tasks
Perform daily maintenance check of forklift operation using appropriate systems and reports repair needs
Keep operating areas clean and in orderly condition according to food safety standards
Adjust weights on over-weight trailers as needed
Must be willing to work weekends, overtimes and back shifts as needed

Requirements

At least 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts, with specific experience on heavy-duty forklifts, preferably in a remanufacturing or industrial setting
