Randstad is hiring in Dartmouth, NS! This is a fantastic Manufacturing & Logistics opportunity for certified and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operators to join a team in the transportation and warehousing sector. Job Responsibility

  • Operate a Sit-Down Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
  • Receive, sort, and organize incoming materials as needed
  • Consistently adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Perform routine checks to ensure equipment remains in proper working condition
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work area
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by the site supervisor

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a warehouse or fast-paced distribution environment
  • Valid external forklift ticket is required (Sit Down Counterbalance)
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
  • Ability to meet physical requirements (lifting, moving products/supplies up to 50lbs, standing for long periods)
  • Must have Steel Toed Shoes
  • Must be able to work the required shift schedule
