Job Responsibility
Navigate High-Value Inventory: Masterfully operate a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift to safely move, stack, and stage fragile, premium stone and quartz surfaces
Execute Specialized Material Handling: Move away from standard freight by managing unique, heavy, and high-finesse architectural products with absolute precision
Champion a Safety-First Culture: Maintain an incident-free environment by applying extreme focus and care during every complex lift
Collaborate and Deliver: Work alongside a dedicated distribution team to streamline specialized inventory flow and meet daily fulfillment targets
Safely operate a Sit-Down Counterbalance and other forklifts to transport materials and products
Load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse or production area
Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on forklifts
Perform inventory checks, data entry, and quality control as needed
Strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
Requirements
Hold proven experience and sharp skills operating a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift
Possess the steady hand, patience, and finesse required to maneuver heavy, high-value, and fragile materials without damage
Thrives in a collaborative environment where safety protocols and meticulous product care are top priorities
Able to reliably commute to SE Calgary, AB, and motivated to secure a stable role
Valid forklift certification, preferably with experience operating sit-down counterbalance forklifts
Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of order picking, quality control, and data entry
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
