Job Description

Our client, a rapidly growing international organisation within the organic food and ingredients sector, is seeking a reliable and self-motivated Forklift Operator to support warehouse and logistics operations at its Rotterdam facility. Offering a salary of €2,800–€3,200 per month, this is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic business operating at the forefront of sustainable and organic supply chains.

Job Responsibility

Operate forklift trucks safely to load, unload, move, and stack materials
Transport raw materials, finished goods, and packaging throughout the facility
Ensure accurate placement and storage of goods in designated warehouse locations
Assist with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of vehicles
Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements
Follow all health & safety procedures and warehouse protocols at all times
Support inventory management processes, including stock rotation (FIFO where applicable)
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety standards within the warehouse
Work collaboratively with warehouse and production teams to ensure smooth operations
Contribute to a strong safety culture with a focus on zero incidents and accidents

Requirements

Valid forklift licence/certification in line with Netherlands regulations
1–3 years’ experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
Experience within FMCG or food environments would be advantageous
Good understanding of warehouse operations and material handling processes
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Basic knowledge of health & safety standards and procedures
Ability to work shifts and meet operational deadlines
Team player with good communication skills
Basic English communication skills required
Valid work authorisation for the Netherlands/EU

Nice to have

Experience within FMCG or food environments
Dutch language skills
