Forklift Galvanizing Operative

• Operating forklifts to move steel around site safely
• Loading and offloading materials and steel from vehicles
• Banding/shrink wrapping customers’ work
• Emptying bins across the site
• Ensuring working areas are kept safe and tidy, working with your colleagues and company systems to highlight any concerns (including ensuring pallets are stacked inside pallet cages)
• Following training and procedures for all production-based activities and practices in your area
• Operating overhead crane equipment and forklifts

• Valid Forklift Licence
• Team-player
• Conscientious
• 'Can-do' attitude
• Confident in lifting and handling work
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential
