Are you a skilled operator who puts safety first? We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Forklift driver to join our fast-paced Calgary distribution and production center. What We Are Looking For: A proactive individual who is comfortable maneuvering industrial equipment in a busy environment. You take pride in moving materials safely and efficiently, ensuring the right products get to the right place at the right time.

Job Responsibility:

  • Precision Handling: Operating lift trucks to load, unload, and stack materials
  • Inventory Flow: Ensuring production lines stay supplied and finished goods are safely stored
  • Safety Excellence: Conducting daily equipment inspections and maintaining a clean, hazard-free workspace
  • Problem Solving: Navigating tight spaces and complex inventory layouts with ease
  • Safe and efficient operation of all assigned forklift equipment
  • Loading and unloading trailers
  • Moving pallets and products throughout the warehouse
  • Staging, wrapping, and organizing inventory
  • Supporting shipping and receiving tasks
  • Maintaining clean and safe work areas
  • Communicating clearly with supervisors and team members

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or Forklift Operator
  • A track record of punctuality and a strong work ethic
  • Mechanically Inclined: Ability to perform basic equipment checks and understand machine limits
  • Physical Readiness: Comfortable working in a hands-on, active warehouse setting
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience operating a Forklift
  • Valid forklift license (Reach, Dock Stocker, SDCB, Walkie)
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment
  • Strong attendance and reliability
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs as required
  • Have reliable personal transportation (a car), as many sites are not serviced by public transit
