Job Description:

We are seeking a precise and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our busy Distribution Centre in Brompton. This is a dynamic role that goes beyond standard pallet shifting will be an integral part of our specialised chemical handling team, ensuring inventory is moved accurately and safely across our facility.

Job Responsibility:

  • Expert Operation: Safe and efficient use of Forklifts & Reach Trucks
  • Specialised Handling: Utilising drum lifter attachments to move 200L drums
  • Order Picking: Picking packaged chemicals in boxes and containers
  • Logistics Support: Assisting with truck loading/unloading and using automated pallet wrappers
  • Safety & Maintenance: Conducting mandatory pre-start checks and maintaining a clean, organised workspace
  • Inventory Care: Managing stock stored in high racking and floor-level locations

Requirements:

  • Current LF licence and experience
  • Current reach truck licence and experience
  • Warehousing experience
  • Capable of performing manual task
  • Confident lifting up to 25kg
  • Licensed & Experienced: Must hold a current LF License with proven experience on Reach Trucks
  • Lifting: Comfortable with frequent lifting (up to 20kg), bending to bottom rows, and dragging items across pallets
  • Safety Conscious: A high level of attention to detail, especially when handling chemical products
  • Reliable: Someone looking for a stable Monday to Friday routine who wants to grow with the business
