Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, safety-minded Forklift Operator to join our busy distribution and production center in Calgary. In this role, you will keep our warehouse materials moving safely and efficiently.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive Forklifts: Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and stack warehouse materials
  • Supply Production: Keep production lines fully supplied with materials and safely store finished products
  • Safety Checks: Inspect your forklift daily and keep your work area clean and safe
  • Move Stock: Drive smoothly through tight spaces and complex warehouse layouts
  • Safe and efficient operation of all assigned forklift equipment
  • Loading and unloading trailers
  • Moving pallets and products throughout the warehouse
  • Staging, wrapping, and organizing inventory
  • Supporting shipping and receiving tasks
  • Maintaining clean and safe work areas
  • Communicating clearly with supervisors and team members

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of forklift experience (Reach Truck, Sit-Down Counterbalance, Dock Stocker, and Walkie)
  • Must have a valid forklift license
  • Must drive own car/vehicle to get to work
  • Must be ready to start working right away
  • A minimum of 1 year experience operating a Forklift
  • Valid forklift license (Reach, Dock Stocker, SDCB, Walkie)
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment
  • Strong attendance and reliability
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs as required
  • Have reliable personal transportation (a car), as many sites are not serviced by public transit
