About the opportunity: As our Freight Handler / Forklift Driver, you'll be based in our Townsville based StarTrack facility, working with colleagues across our processing and deliveries teams to keep the cogs of our business turning. This is a full time permanent opportunity working Mon-Fri from 2pm-10pm, with a pay rate of $33.82/ph plus 12% super and a 17.5% penalty rate for the PM shift along with overtime rates.

Job Responsibility

  • Safely operating a forklift and also sorting product on the floor
  • Support with loading parcels/pallets for our delivery and transport drivers to head out on the road

Requirements

  • Hold a valid LF Forklift Licence with experience
  • Be fit enough to lift/load and unload parcel/freight items of all different shapes and sizes frequently around our facilities and into trucks up to 30kg
  • Be safety-focused, willing to undergo a vehicle assessment and pre-employment checks (medical, drug/alcohol screening and national criminal checks)
  • You're a self-starter that enjoys working in a busy operations environment
  • You enjoy connecting with others in the community to support us to deliver on time, and like never before
