Job Description:

Pull materials/doors and properly inspect, stack and stage for loading. Reads order, gathers ordered materials/doors manually or with forklift, sorts for proper stacking, applies place cards, stages for loading.

Requirements:

  • Forklift knowledge and safety procedures
  • MasterPak and scanners in MasterPak
  • Order tracking process and documents
  • Door and core types
  • Product locations
  • Forklift operating skills to load/unload, lift, move, place, stack raw materials and doors, navigate throughout plant
  • Perform safety procedures
  • Handling/stacking requirements
  • Read/interpret schedules/tickets/shipping documents
  • Sorts product to maximize trailer space
  • Ensures complete and accurate loading and storage of merchant products
  • Directs work of warehouse attendants and operators
  • Locates, checks and verifies the accuracy of the product being loaded
  • Staging process, truck/trailer loading procedures
  • Previous Forklift Certification
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Moderate knowledge of door/customer quality specs, pull placards and load list details
  • Strong knowledge in door packaging procedures
  • Must be flexible to help other departments as needed
