Job Description:

IKEA Glasgow is hiring Forklift Drivers to join the Inbound Fulfilment team for night shifts. The role involves goods receiving, managing deliveries, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations while adhering to safety protocols. Experience with forklift trucks, technical equipment, and teamwork is essential. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available with competitive hourly rates.

Job Responsibility:

Goods receiving, ensuring products are available to customers by ensuring tasks in your area are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Operate and work around heavy machinery, such as pump trucks and fork lifts, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse
Manual handling of heavy stock
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure environment for both customers and co-workers
Using your forklift safely to pick palettes and move them from our loading bay to our warehouse
Replenishment of the store, making sure all the shelves are full and ready for our customers.

Requirements:

Warehouse, forklift truck driving and counter balance experience is required
Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise workload efficiently, with a keen attention to detail
Proven experience in using technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency
Self-reliant and motivated, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
