Job Description:

This role is based in our Forest School, but would also be to work within the preschool room as required. To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or Forest School qualification, and ideally have previous experience working in a Forest School. Are you passionate about creating brighter futures for children? At Elvington Lane, we’re looking for a Forest School Practitioner to join our team. Bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication, and let’s make a difference together! Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents
  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care
  • Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others
