Job Description:

We’re looking for a kind, dedicated, and reliable Support Worker to join our friendly team in Long Eaton. This is a rewarding opportunity to support a gentleman in his own home and out in the community, helping him to live as independently and happily as possible. The individuals we support may have autism, learning disabilities, have a forensic background and at times can display behaviours of concern, therefore you must have the ability to follow detailed support plans in order to ensure a consistent approach.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide day-to-day support with personal care and daily living tasks
  • Cooking, cleaning, shopping, and medication support
  • Supporting hobbies and community activities
  • Accessing the community to an activity of their choice or to purchase their weekly food shop
  • Follow detailed support plans
  • Provide 1:1 support from 8am–10pm, plus sleep-in support overnight (10pm–8am)
