Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific certification required)
5+ years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician
At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role
Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes
Proven experience with troubleshooting, electrical installations, and repairs in commercial, industrial, or residential settings
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics
Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
Ability to train, mentor, and lead a team of electricians to achieve high-quality results
A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to job sites as needed

Job Responsibility

Oversee and manage electrical crews on commercial, industrial, and residential projects
Lead, mentor, and guide journeymen and apprentices
Work closely with the General Foreman, Electrical Superintendent, and project managers
Ensure adherence to safety protocols
Supervise and assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
Proficient in working with various conduit types
Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues
Perform inspections and testing of electrical systems
Ensure all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical regulations
